- Jhootha Hi Sahi is rumored to be based on the 1999 British romantic comedy movie Notting Hill, and this Bollywood flick is a simple yet not-so-simple love story revolving around lies, laughter, friendship, love, and ‘true love’
- Do Dooni Chaar revolves around the life of a middle-class man living in a metropolitan city. Santosh Duggal (Rishi Kapoor) is a school teacher, residing in a DDA flat in Delhi with wife Kusum Duggal (Neetu Kapoor) and kids Archit and Aditi. Santosh is coping with the daily inflation worries. As if this is any less, his wife Kusum constantly nags him for a luxurious life
- Aisha is a perfect rom-com, what with its aesthetic looks, super stylish avatars and not to forget the ‘ah! so adorable’ characters. So, for all those who went head over heels with the chicks in ‘Sex and The City’, we finally have our very own desi damsels who are sweeter, sexier and sassier.
- It’s a Wonderful Afterlife webs around an Indian widow, Mrs Sethi, who is determined to get her pass daughter, Roopi, settled before she unites with her husband in heaven. However, the glitch is that no suitors agree to tie the nuptial knot, thanks to Roopi’s plump figure and ordinary look. Bowled over by this, Mrs Sethi turns the table from being a super-tensed mother of an unwed girl into a serial killer.
- Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge captures the trauma of a new age working couple who have to undergo the excessively-long overstay of a distant relative. The problems that they face are just like what you would have experienced, had you been in their place. The familiar quirkiness just warms your heart and makes you break into a smile. The movie has an entertaining, well thought-of climax and the devotional touch is quite impressive.
